THURSDAY: Smoke sticks around on Thursday with more Air Quality Alerts possible. Spotty fire danger remains as well, but it should be lower with more clouds and slightly cooler temperatures. This is thanks to increased moisture across southern Colorado, which could produce some scattered storms. First along and south of US-50 in the afternoon, then also around the Pikes Peak Region around dinner time. Some storms could be strong with gusty winds, heavy rain and small hail. Highs reach the 90s.
