COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -Addison Vrana, a senior at Vista Ridge High School, recently shared her motivation for moving from tackle to girls’ flag football. Having enjoyed both powder puff and tackle football, she was eager to dive into this new opportunity. A significant influence on her decision was her father, who had been her coach for the past two years before retiring last winter. His retirement seemed like a sign that it was time for a fresh start, and the introduction of girls’ flag football at Vista Ridge High School arrived just in time for her to make the transition.
