Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck Hit Billboard's Jazz Songs Chart at the Same Time

To look at Billboard’s Jazz Songs chart this week, you would almost mistake it for the rock chart. Rod Stewart makes his first appearance on the chart as he and Stevie Wonder check in at number 28 with a cover of the latter’s “My Cherie Amour.”

Just one notch down is Herbie Hancock’s new version of John Lennon’s classic “Imagine,” which also features an appearance by Jeff Beck. Coincidentally, Stewart got his start in the 1960s as the singer with The Jeff Beck Group.

Rock-a-holic Meeting Here!

Heart just played up in Denver and now KKFM wants to fly you away to Las Vegas to see Heart. Text Heart to 62582! Now time for a fun fact. Although sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson moved to Vancouver in 1974, Bellevue Washington claims the sisters as their own. The Wilson sisters were originally The Army then White Heart then they finally shortened their name to Heart. The girls were in a major legal battle between Mushroom records and Portrait records.
