Ronnie Wood to Get First American Art Exhibition
Ronnie Wood fans know that when hes not playing guitar with The Rolling Stones, or in rehab, hes often painting. On September 21st, Woody will get his first major exhibition at an American museum. The guitarist will unveil more than 60 original paintings, prints and drawings at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio. The exhibition will run for exactly two months, ending on November 21st.
Dr. Louis Zona, executive director of the Butler Institute, tells the New York Times, [Wood] has done a number of cartoons, spoofs on English culture...just wonderful things. Hes very, very talented.

Eric Clapton was in one of the most popular bands of the 60's, Cream. Eric redid "Layla" at MTV's Unplugged which was a beautiful acoustic version making it a HIT all over again. Clapton's nickname is "Slowhand" because he plays the guitar so hard he would break the strings and the crowd would clap slowly as Eric replaced them. Mr. Eric Clapton made a critically acclaimed appearance in the movie "Rush."
